Today I was at a local autox event and 2 of my old buddies who work for Procharger come out. They find out I had to remove my Vortech due to the issues I experienced in the past. They immediately said it was because of that shaft across the motor right? Uhhh YEAH!! They then said I bet it was blowing seals. Damn they were right on. Anyways, they looked at my engine and took pics and taking it to Procharger to discuss it with others of making a kit. They do have a universal blower coming out but they were trying to find a place to put it. How they said they would run this is, if you don't mind taking out the air conditioner and it's accessories then you could put it on the passenger side of the car and run it right off the pulleys instead of having that shaft. Then the piping would run down into the intercooler where the condensor was. Then run the other tubing coming off the intercooler out driver side to the throttle body. They said they are going to talk about it but they will need a donor car. Outlawd said he would be happy to let them have his CSVT. I am going to call him in a couple of weeks to see what could happen. So we may have another kit out for the car. Procahrger units are sweet because they are self contained. Keeping finger crossed.
