Thanks for the info. It always warms the heart to hear 'you're screwed', though....yep, I'm in a salt state. Perhaps taking it straight to the SVT dealer would be better overall...if not the best for me, at least so they have another documented failure if indeed there have been similar incidents. Mods sound good but I need it repaired fast and correctly (yeah, I know..). The car handles perfectly well stock, I think. I'm just thankful I wasn't on the highway when it went.
