wonder if I could get any suggestions....I was about to head home from work when I heard a big 'thump' and the rt front tire went flat. Took the tire off, it was punctured by the coil spring (which evidently broke and punctured the sidewall). Can't get the spare on, so the car sits 'til I get a tow in the morning...Should I trust it to a regular repair place or let Ford look at this? Out of warranty, so no help there. BTW the car has never been beaten. Never saw a coil spring break before....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
98 CSVT, basic mod's, my slowest car yet but still faster than the wife's Talon Tsi AWD. Not by much, though. Now if I could get the back wheels to do something....
