Yep! Sounds like you got a Stang TB.
Here is some interesting reading that might give you something to go on.
It is not recommended to upgrade to this large of a TB. Plus the TPS will have to be replaced with one from the Stang, unless yours came with one. Since you could not get your old one off, sounds like the TB did not come with one. So you would have to get the Stang TPS, but I would try to get my money back.
