Ah, gotcha. It amazes me they were asking $17000 for a car with damage like that when the blue book is around $14000 without damage. I thought they were nuts to begin with. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk (oh my god, I'm turning into my mother  )

there is one here at the schaumburg dodge dealer for sale on Golf Road in Hoffman Estates. Might want to check it out. I want to say it is a 98, later today I will look into it alittle bit more for ya.

Cool, thanks! I'm going down to my bank on Friday to see what they might be willing to lend me, and what kind of payments I would be looking at for a private party sale. Either that or I'll have to use one of my credit cards (just kidding). Silly banks give me more credit than I make in a year.

The guy had said that the car was "on sale" for $15000. But since my brother would have had a trade in, he didn't get the best deal he could of, IMO.
