You actually have it backwards. To get more oversteer in FWD you actually want to lower your rear pressures.

You are correct that it depends on driving style however. The biggest problem most people have is they go into corners way too hot and end up trying to toss the car into it. This in turn causes severe understeer and no matter what the tire pressures are, it won't help.
