I just dont understand I am a Contour Lover just like all the other people on here. And I love my car I take very good care of my car. And all I do is get bashed for it. I take alot of pride in what i am done to make that car look Euro I have never seen a contour look that way before. That is why I tryed to do it.

I think the reason you are getting a hard time (a lot of it is probably just in good fun - sarcasm tends to not translate well into text) is because the majority of Contour enthusiasts prefer to go for the "sleeper" look with their cars. Our cars tend to look slower than they really are. A lot of times you will see a car that has a big wing and yellow stickers all over it. These cars tend to be called "rice" - they look faster than they are. The general feeling is that it's better to be under estimated and over perform, than to just *look* real fast.
While I would not take the direction you have with your car, I think it's great that you have tried to do something different. My only suggestion is to lose the blackout covers and get a Chris Hightower headlight mod done. If you do a search you'll find several pictures, it gives the headlights the dark look without cheesy covers.

Those are kind old pics of the car. I have already removed the headlight covers I did not really like them anyway. I am goint to clear out the corner lenses this weekend cause I put Xenon bulbs in there and i love the way they look.
