As a Canadian ,(in Ontario)I was totally disjusted when I heard about the booing.Everyone I know also agreed.THIS IS NOT the views of most Canadians ,only a select few.Last week there was a poll in my area and over 75% were in agreement with the US and Britain.Nobody likes war but we must support ANY troops fighting.I support it and was also upset to hear that the Canadian government would not.WTF is that??So PLEASE do not judge Canadians by a select,stupid few.Just my thoughts....We are all praying for the SAFE return of all forces.

BTW I heard a brief radio news clip that the hockey fans booed the Canadian anthem in Atlanta on the weekend. Considering the incident there some years ago where the Braves' color party flew Canadian flag upside down, I'm getting the impression that some Atlanta folks are under influence of Coke. Thankfully they mainly embarrass themselves and not the USA.

How unfortunate, then, that the perception created by the Bush Administration -- and dutifully parroted by much of the commercial news media, for whom this war is an ad-revenue bonanza -- insidiously portrays those in favor of actions and agendas that place our soldiers in harm's way as SUPPORTIVE of our armed forces ... But those who oppose placing our soldiers in harm's way are somehow UNSUPPORTIVE of them ... ?
