The major consideration is:
Mobil 1 spec calls for a 3000 mile drain.
Amsoil 100% synth is rated for extended drain-intervals -- assuming the Amsoil oil filter or another superior oil filter (like K&N's) is used. I dump the Amsoil 5w-30 synth in my CSVT every 14,000 - 15,000 miles.
Depending on where you buy, the per-quart difference in price between Mobil 1 and Amsoil can be as little as $1.00 ... And when you consider that, in synlubes technology, Amsoil got the jump on Mobil by 20 years -- well, guess who controls the key patents?
