I just purchased my CAI from CTA. Went to the shop to see how much an exhaust would run me. Does 250 sound good for a new cat back sys. w/o resonator dual out installed? still looking for a body kit. Anybody have any Ideas for that. I have an se and was thinking about just getting a SVT body kit. Also I found a shop that will port and polish my head for 300. UDP is next on the list but I was skeptical since I heard that it can limit the lifespan of the tour. is this True? Any more Ideas are welcome. Thanks guys/gals

My only idea is if the P&P your head for only $300, I'd look else where. That isn't a dept your want to go skimpy on.

A UDP will not hurt the Zetec, IIRC. Only the Duratec.

AFAIK a dual res-free cat back installed for $250 is a good price. Mine was used and the total cost was $175 installed.

I don't really know if that is all that great of a price for the cat back. It only cost me $125 for 2.25" cat back.

Where did you get your exhaust for $125? I just talked to another guy who said $330. I would rather do it myself but nobody will bend me the pipes and just sell them to me. They all say the they have to install them. did you get new pipes? was that with mufflers? and tips?

All new pipes, no duals or y pipe.

Well, you can buy pre-bent stock shapes, like J-pipes and U-pipes, and cut those up and make whatever pipe path you need... Might not be the cheapest option, though.

I agree. You can get pipe pieces at JCWhitney, or any auto parts store.

I am not all about looks but that seems to me that it would be pretty ugly. do you guys know anywhere that might sell a pipe bender?
