You obviously didn't pay attention to what the rest of the world was saying during the election. They were praying Bush would lose. And Gore had way more credibility (in my book and majority of voters) and experience than Bush.

First of all who put those sanctions in place? Right. If they were really supposed to work something else would've been done. Who's to say that the renewed and increased pressure on Saddam wouldn't have worked. You? Even if they didn't then the world would have seen that we really exhausted the options rather than giving up and were justified in blowing his a$$ up. And yes I believe we gave up on diplomacy. It's not like Saddam was preparing to attack the US. Of course that's what they'd have you sheep believe though.

When he was gassing the kurds back then we didn't do sh!t, we didn't give a sh!t back then but now all of sudden we have to liberate the Iraqi people. Even when and if they do find banned wmds so what. That still won't justify that war was necessary or that the US was in any emminent danger and we had to pre-emptively attack a nation that was already in the sh!tter anyway.
