This war is such bs! They might not have too much fire power but they can retaliate with a dirty bomb or some raioactive material that can spread. I hope bush does dot get reelected. We need a democrat.

You are kidding right? If they have the ability to use a dirty bomb, or even chemical weapons, that is the very reason to take care of this now, rather than wait until Saddam feels he is strong enough to dump them on someone unprovoked. Anyone remember the unprovoked invasion of Kuwait? Anyone remember the fact that Saddam isn't supposed to be allowed to be doing anything w/ his military because of the outcome of that war? And of course he is.
And for the folks that whine about the loss of innocent lives, have you ever stopped to think about all of the innocent lives that are lost every day because someone like Saddam is in power over there? The man ordered chemical weapons used on his own people for crying out loud.

Heck, the Scuds that Iraq fired into Kuwait last night were supposed to have been destroyed as part of Iraq's disarmament agreement. Although, technically, I guess you now could say that they have been.

If Gore were in office we'd probably have the world opinion and the UN behind us and we probably wouldn't need to go to war to solve the problem. I think the rest of the world doesn't like/respect Bush. They see the shady ways he won the election and don't respect him as a capable leader. Watch and listen to any of his eloquent speeches and you know why. And yes his public speaking ability does matter. And I'm sure nepotism has something to do with it as well. Who gives a sh!t about the recount, but when the majority of voters vote for someone who wasn't put in office it does make you say hmmmm. Especially when the electorate difference came out of a state where his fam runs sh!t. Yes the rest of the world has a very good reason to question why Bush is in office and whether he should be there.
And Saddam did not gas the Americans or our allies. Turkey and Iran were about just as bad to the Kurds as Iraq short of using chem weapons.
Saddam could've been isolated and controlled by the rest of the world without a war. Even possibly removed. I haven't heard or seen one shred of evidence, fake, made up, fabricated or whatever you want to call it showing that Iraq is of a remote threat to the US. However Bush cited several documents in one of his recent speeches, which allegedly proved Iraq was continuing to pursue a nuclear program, that were later shown to be forgeries. Why am I not surprised? Cause America turns into sheep at the sound and sight of propaganda.

We DO have the world opinion behind us! We have 35 nations contributing to this. Greater than the Persian Gulf War and a close second to WWII.

I'd be hard pressed to name more than 10 nations of this 35. Compare that to the fact that a Syrian armored division participated in Gulf War I against Iraq and you can see how there really isn't a world consensus on this.
For example, Ireland is providing overflight and refueling facilities for US military planes mainly because Ireland doesn't want to piss off the US.

uh-huh
How about this, move out and move out NOW! Instead of b1t(hing, moaning and HIDING OUT in this great country, move out. See how it is in other countries. Take your bellyaching elsewhere.
I for one am happy we are taking care of this now, and not later after more innocent AMERICANS and IRAQIS die at the hand of a madman. Do YOU know how many of his OWN people he killed, to test his bio/chem weapons? One person is too much, IMHO! If he kills his own people for fun, why would people believe he won't kill us?
Edit: I can tell you right now, I didn't vote for Bush, but I am very happy that puss-puss Gore didn't win. Mr. I created the Internet, hippie lover, would have talked us all to death. All talk, no action. No thanks.

How many of those 35 are contributing troops? Matter of fact how many nations are contributing troops at all other than Britian and Australia?
Compare that to GW1...
