I am replacing the passenger side axle because both cv-joints leak on that side.I am trying to remove the passenger side axle by separating it from the intermediate shaft.

How do I do this properly? So far I have unbolted the shield that goes around the bearing carrier for the intermediate shaft, but I can't seem to get the two apart. What are they held together by?

Thanks everyone!

Looking for a reply quick so I'm gonna put this in troubleshooting too.
