this is top secret, but the new alarm doesn't do much more than any other alarm, i just want the interior lights to turn off when i arm the alarm, i also would like the dome light to turn off when the door is closed(with the ignition off,) not twelve seconds later. thanks for the info, i'll do some testing tomorrow at work.

after reviewing the pin-outs a little more, it would seem to be easier to disconnect the r12 relay from pin nine and run my own relays to turn the interior lights on only when a door was opened or the alarm was disarmed. it won't be that hard, just cut the pin 9 connection, tap onto pins one and two, diode isolate pin two, run both into relay r12 along with the dome light control wire from the alarm. sounds simple enough, right?
depending on the polarity of the pin 9 output, i may need to use more relays, do you know if it is a positive or negative output? i know the door triggers are negative trigger and the dome light control from the alarm is negative. anyways,
