Originally posted by Lance Kinley: Unless the UIM has been extrude honed, the ports won't be 33/35mm. Only the SVT/ST200 UIM's are that big and they are pretty spendy at this point since most of them are gone.
They are most "definitely" NOT that large.
Even a Dual Honed UIM only specs at around 30.5mm / 31.8mm respectively.
Figure 1-2mm smaller each for a single honed (98/98.5 SVT) and 2-4mm smaller each for a regular UIM.
The returnless LIM he picked up specs at:
LIM (Returnless) >Inlet Primary: 33.5mm Secondary: 34.7mm >Outlet Primary: 32.5mm Secondary: 34mm
The main problem he will run into is that the non-SVT's DO NOT have Extrude Honed heads! That makes their head inlets ports a good 2mm smaller repectively then the 99/00 SVT which spec'd at 33mm/34mm. (98/98.5 - only had secondary ports EH'd once)

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
