With my cooler, riding on the highway in the winter weather,
the temp hardly got over 115F.
During last fall, when I had the ATX replaced, and the cooler installed,
the temp would not go over 150F while highway cruising.

Normal operating temp for a CD4E is stated as 180 - 210 F in the Ford Service Manual.

Temps while highway cruising should always be lower.
When I am in slow or city traffic, the temp never goes over 180F now.
