Brake lights are OK. Yes, it has occurred to me that it might be the switch, but seems unlikely. The blower motor deal is not a recall, only an extended warranty up to 72,000 miles. We bought the car with 73,200 on it. Working between Ford dealers and the used car dealer where we bought it to come to a resolution.
