Tourman, my pre98 is mostly stock. I just have some rims and an exhaust. Not sure if I am going to get the intake done or not. I hear you about money--I work and still don't have enough money. But that's okay.

Rob I'll vouch for Hector. LOL I'm kidding about me driving, though. I just want a ride, dude--maybe some drool time--but that's it.

Tourman, don't feel bad about your car being stock man! Mine was stock for a long time until I got the money (income tax!!) for the few small mods I have. As for money, dude I am all there. The wife and I had to really cut back on things to make this happen, but we are determined to do it, so we are. Also, like Heather said, if you stay in Huntsville, we have some pretty good rates going for rooms. You can check the thread I have titled, "Who's Staying Over for the Nashville Meet?" or something like that. I will be sending in the money for the rooms around the first. If you need a day or two after that, please let me know. It will be tight, but I am willing to work something out with the hotel if would like to come and it seems that it might be a little too soon.

Stock or not man, that is not the point of meets. Just getting together, shooting some bull (talkin' smack!) and most of all... Learning more about our cars. I am a firm beleiver that you can sit on this board all day if you want, but until you have the chance to get around someone else's car that is simaliar to yours that is when you really start learning about your car. Just the last couple of times that Neal and I have gotten together I have learned a ton!! Hell I have already started bugging Hector about his car. He has a Zetec and I have a Duratec, but we share the same tranny and he has done a lot to his that I want to do to mine in the future. This will be the only chance that I will have to talk to someone, in person, that has been there and done that with these mods.

Thanks guys that makes me feel better. I have to check my calendar..I think i am free. I would love to meet you all. I am constantly on the boards...My room mate thinks i am a crazy nerd because i am so into my car. I know there are faster cars out there but i really do love my car..Its so comfortable and has the potential to make people say "is that a contour?...WOW!!". I am addicted to this web site..its crazy how a contour web site can consume so much of my life...Oh well, Its the only thing that i can turn to when school starts to get old. My family would think i was crazy if i drove 6 hours to meet a whole bunch of contour drivers that i met over the internet. I feel like i have known a lot of you for years...Is that crazy? I really pay attention to the forums so i know a lot about peoples personal lives...( I am not a stalker i promise ) I think it would be cool also to meet some female enthusiasts(i am not a leghumper). I just don't see very many females who are into cars and i think its great to see them represent for the CEG Thanks a lot guys/ladies for making me feel welcome.

I was going to reply something to this thread, but while in the process, the hot water hose to my washing machine blew up and flooded my downstairs. That was an hour ago, I'm cold and tired now, and I forgot what I was going to say. Right as I clicked "reply", it started raining downstairs. I know I had something to say, but oh well, it's gone now!

Had to dump the cable modem. And dumping the digital cable for Dish network. Believe it or not, this is a cost cutting move! I will be saving about 40 bucks a month. 20 going to dish (with more channels I might add) and 20 with earthlink.
