As much of a piece of sh!t that Clinton was/is, I doubt he would have placed troops in harm's way on the scale that we are doing right now.

If we were pulling a "media blitz" to move attention away from other problems, there would be NO NATO or UN-member suport for our actions. We've got it from a NUMBER of countries!!! Not 100% of them, as France, Germany and Russia won't commit. Again, they won't commit due to financial ties to Iraq, along with other reasons that I can't really fathom.
