feelin a little testy today??? When your trying to correct somebody (DemonSVT in this case) at least be correct and in making an uninformed generalization, you were blatently wrong. In my post I was merely explaining something that was VERY PERTINENT to the conversation. I know it's st patty's in Savannah and all, but let's not let the liquor talk here.

Thanks for explaining the difference between an AT and an ATX Demon...It's sorta annoying when people use the wrong terms for things...

For example: Up until the "tuner" community came around, the word "intake" always described an intake manifold to anyone who knew anything about cars. I still get excited everytime I see a post titled "new intake for the duratec" and it ends up being an airfilter and piece of aluminum tube.

hehe

what type of new intakes are we getting for our cars, a Dual plane, tunnel ram, single plane, four barrel or two? I really wnat to know

Another thing that always gets me screwed up is headers and exhaust manifold. I always thought of exhaust manifolds as the crappy flowing cast peices that came stock on most cars. Headers are when each exhaust port has its own tube and they merge under the car. I always get screwed up when someone describes their stck exhaust manifolds as headers.

I guess thats what happens when your first experience with modding cars is on muscle cars.

See the quarter mile times thread for my formal apology to all I may have offended. In fact, to make it as easy as I possibly can, I'll even copy/paste it for you.

Ok so there is a such thing as an over-reaction.

In that case, I would like to formally apologise to all who regularly participate in the Dyno and Drag forum for being so close-minded and displaying the dark side of my rather inferior knowledge, as most of you probably know far better about a quarter mile trap speed than I ever will.

If that STILL isn't enough, I'll be more than happy to sever both my arms and wrap them in bubble packaging, so as to prevent myself from typing any further "BS".

Is it over yet?

HOWEVER, when you start making assumptions that I drink liquor because it's St. Pat's day here in Savannah, I don't take too kindly to it at all. I'm sixteen years old, barely good enough to probably even be in there, but when you fire off a personal diss such as that one, it's just wrong.

well I say that the duratec would take the cirrus. HP is rated 164-168 and tq is 170. So pretty close in power, and the weight is kinda close as well. So either way it won't be a huge victory, but the duratec should pull ahead with the powerband it has.
