For example: Up until the "tuner" community came around, the word "intake" always described an intake manifold to anyone who knew anything about cars. I still get excited everytime I see a post titled "new intake for the duratec" and it ends up being an airfilter and piece of aluminum tube. 
i said i was getting an intake to my friends dad, and he said "intake manifold?"
