In all my vehicles (Camry, Mystique, Isuzu, Chev.) I use synthetic Amsoil ATF which is compatible with Mercon V.
Been using since 30,000 miles in the Mystique. highest mileage car I have using it is at 143,000, swithced at 25,000. No tranny issues as yet.
