OP avu3 Junior Member A Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 13 Rohnert Park, Cali	Have a 98 2.5 with the ATX. I can't find anywhere if I should use Mercon III or the newer Mercon V. Can someone tell me if it's been discussed? I searched and got lots of info on the bucket flushing method and the coctail for the MTX, but not about which fluid to use. Thanks! Scott Ford cannot build a car like this (1966 tbird) today because the US government says it is not safe. It has no crumple zones, air bags, or other safety features such as what you'll find in say, a new Toyota. But hit a Toyota with one of these and see who loses! - Gary Tayman
