I just want you all to know, I plan on buying one... like I said I was, but I gotta wait till this Friday (payday) then I can use my debit card and pay cash.

PS-- What is a "dtec heatshield" and where would I get one?

Thanks again, damn I'm glad I found ya'all!!!

The advantage of the non-flanged version is that you can put a larger K&N filter on your car because with it flanged you will be really close to hitting the fender. On my car right now I have a 9" K&N and it is about 1/2" off the fender and I know that the flanged Pro-Flow is longer than the stock MAF so I would not be able to use my K&N. But with the non-flanged version, it is signficantly less long because you don't have the flange and the MAF adapter. Also, as Hoosier pointed out, it costs less. An unknown benefit for me.

The $147 price is final. I wouldn't complain too much because this is $75 dollars off the original price. Thanks

I should be ordering one up in the next couple of days. After that I'll just have to figure out the best size of AFE filter to purchase.

For this price I can't go wrong.

Hey I'm sorry but I only got to talk to Pro-Flow this morning and I couldn't get in touch with him this afternoon. Everything seems to be going smoothly and as before the sooner we order ther sooner they ship. Thanks

Yeah....the one question I have is that is the diamater of te opening on the non flanged one? I'd need to know this as well to order the appropriate filter
