Coolant level light comes on...

Pull over and add a little coolant...

Still moing to the red...

Radiator on full blast, cold air...

Check line pressure on coolant lines, seem well filled and flowing.

Still moving to the red.

I have a new thermostat coming in tomorrow for it but I wanted to know if this was te similar symptoms for others with a WP impeller failure.

I bought the car this sunday.

Furious anger.

Agreed with everyone else. Waterpump. Get it fixed immediately. Aluminum heads don't take kindly to superheated water...

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby.
There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there.
You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one.

Have it installed...

Do you guys smoke crack or what, Installing a new waterpump isn't the work for a mechanic.

I thought there were some gearheads out there.

I bought the new pump today, along with a flush kit, new thermostat, ect. Hopefully, i'll get it done this evening.

Done and done.

The remains of the pump impeller were almost humorous.

Furious anger is replaced with satisfaction in a job well done

Thanks for the help!

My car is doing the same thing, first the sensor/then the thermostat and now they are saying the water pump, total cost 700.00 and there is nothing ford or I can do. I have the car from hell..... I would get my money back and run.
