Me first ...
Book - "Point Of Impact" by Stephen Hunter. I love this book, it's about a retired Vietnam sniper who gets screwed over and gets his own back. Excellent.
Movie - "Frailty". This came out last year and seems to have slipped under the radar. Bill Paxton is in it and Matt McConaughey. There's a twist in this that I definitely didn't see coming.
Band -
The Frames U2 are not the only band to come out of Ireland as some people seem to believe. The Frames are a rock band but they throw some other stuff in there too and make damn fine use of an electric violin. I've seen them 3 times in the last year and they've gotten better every time.
