D Davis is right, with the wax having to be ALL off before you claybar it. The claybar will not strip off any wax. You should be able to notice a difference after ALL the wax is gone(dull finish, rough surface, etc.). Then the claybar should work. However, if it is acid rain, repaint is the best and easiest way to fix it(acid rain eats through the clearcoat, which will never come off.)
