Work successfully completed!
We ended up pulling both outer CV joints apart. The driver side had one bearing that came loose and had to be reseated in the carrier due to it being angled so incorrectly during my inital re-install. The passenger side was also angled, but no bearings came out. There were 6 bearings in each side, and the grease made it very hard to manuver the carrier inside the joint. We eventually did get it finished, though I had to clamp them with the cheap fold-over-and-clasp style clamps, not the real onces which get pinched to tighten. I'll probably redo both clamps if I can find someone that sells the *REAL* style.
Anyway, it's all together now. The front sits about 1.5" lower as expected. I really like the feel if the BAT (euro style) struts and H&R springs. Once I get the cash, I'll put a set on the rear also. The rear still lags and sways while the front goes right where I put it. Even with snow tires all around, it gripped like it never has before. Taking an on-ramp that I could never hold more than 60 on was a piece of cake at 80. I probably could have taken it harder but didn't want to get crazy due to the ass-end still being lose.
Thanks again for all your help guys
