"Contour SVT HiFlow Intake
The factory air box offers decent air flow when supplemented with a K&N air filter. An additional 3-4 HP are released from a K&N. However, when further performance modifications are done the Airbox becomes a restriction. At higher power levels, to improve airflow into the engine, we offer a custom built air-box that utilizes cone filter and a heat shield to let the engine breathe in abundant and cool air from the fender. It adds 4-6HP on stock engine and as many as 9 HP on a 3.0L conversion. For those wanting to make their own cold air kits, we offer a package without a heat shield.
