Those are all mighty interesting "insights" there, Speed Demon. Did you get those from Rush Limbaugh, or did you think of those all by yourself?

I must ask though, do you actually read the posts you criticize, because there's a small hole in your argument...

I'm not a liberal.

I'm a conservative. And a Bush voter. And a veteran. And (generally) a supporter of the (almost certainly) upcoming hostilities.

As for facts, I see none being presented from either side here. Because there are no facts, at least none that any here has access to present. Only opinions. None are particularly more relevant, correct, or valid than others, but some are more educated than others. And there are rather equal number of respectable, educated arguments on both sides of the fence.

So, you can take your unilateral, "idiotic" discussion elsewhere. Let the big boys talk politics intellectually, because it's quite obvious that you are incapable of even basic reading comprehension if you can't even discern someone's view of the situation.

and this is me still being human, i apologize for coming off harshly. My recent overexposure to blithering idiots specifically with regard to this war has tainted my view a bit and caused me quite a bit of mental distress just trying to understand these people. At any rate i over-reacted, apologies.

as for my 'insight' it doesnt come from rush, i dont even listen to or like the guy after reading one of his books (i can't remember which one for the life of me (its at home, i'm not)) it just sorta struck me whilst reading through editorials and the like last night on the web.

so in conclusion, i still support the war, and by and large i am irate with people who don't. It is my personal belief that those who dont support the erradication of saddam from the world stage are still a bit hazy in the head, he has gassed his own people (fact), he has gassed iranians (fact), he has laid siege and waste to other nations (kuwait(fact)), and we all know from history containment is a policy akin to playing russian roulette (if you play long enough you're gonna die). I firmly believe that people who think we're going to colonize the middle-east are freakin bonkers. While we may, indeed as a side effect, make the region a bit more hospitable to the west that is not colonizing, its extending a bit of influence (which every country with the opportunity is guilty of and is not against international law)

so yeah, we can all be friends if we dont agree on politics
