Why would anyone ever listen to the UN if we don't ever enforce it's resolutions? 12 years ago, Iraq was told to disarm. It played games to the point of kicking all UN inspectors out. Last fall ALL UN nations agreed that Iraq must be disarmed, now we come along to push what everyone agreed on and we become the bad guys. Russia is pissed cause Iraq is their number one arms buyer, France signed a huge oil deal with Iraq just recently, and would hate to see us occupy Iraq (read - take over their oil fields).
Do you really think these countries are against us invading Iraq? They have vested interests that they want to protect, they don't give a $h!t about Saddam or the Iraqy people.
Screw you Canada, you everlasting, spineless, neutral country.
How did that feel? You see what generalizations and stereotypes feel like? "You Americans have hate to burn"
I think the UN has become useless, seeing as 12 years later noone can agree on doing a deed that was agreed on 12 years, and 6 months ago.
Sept. 11 didn't take place in Montreal, my friend. This act of terror changed our (and many others) view of national defense from "wait for a threat and react" to "seek out and eliminate threats". Don't you see that? We have been at war since the fall of 2001, just cause our troops in Afghan. aren't on the news every night anymore doesn't mean their job is any less dangerous.
Is Oil involved to some extent here, yes. Does the UN have a backbone, No.
The French are a bunch of ungrateful pukes. When hitler was taking over France we should have debated it for 12 years and let the Frogs see how it feels.
Enough hate for ya? Don't attack America.
