Wether or not Saddam is or isn't the evil man we've all been told I will not judge. But, we have to remember that each and every little piece of information that causes us to hold these passioinate opinions (pro or anti-war) is stuff we have heard on the news, mostly from the administration. I mention this because when opinions differ so greatly, it's important to look at what the sources of evidence are.
I'm not saying war is necessarily right or wrong, I merely point out that you have very passionate opinions (ie: "hate the French") and that they are based on information you have. But how good is that information really?
"I would expect that from a Canadian" - A perfect example of my point that you have hate to spare. Just incredible! You would never talk to me this way if we were face to face, just like you would never tell a French stranger that you "hate" them if we were all engaged in an intelligent discussion.
