Since were on the subject how much of a job is it to change the Gasket. I have the dampness problem as well. I also use mobil But I had the leak before I started using it so Can't blame the oil at this point the car has 110 k on it.

95 Contour 110K / Tranny slipping / Steering Play / Non-functioning door locks/
Replaced Both front Wheel Bearings exactly 1year apart/ Replaced coil at 105k/spedo cable and sensor twice
/Did TSB repair on Parking brake works fine now/Alpine CD Deck.
