Ugly, hideous, all of these opinions I can accept.
But it is not rice, I don't care what's under the hood.
As a crafted work, like it or not, it is well done. Rice is not everything you don't like. It is half-a$$ed or mis-applied modification that is in poor taste.
And again, "poor taste" is not everything you don't like. "Poor taste" implies that most reasonable people would identify, right away, that something is very off-kilter or out-of-sorts, aesthetically.
