i just got 17" axis wheels . i was 50/50 about 18. since my wheel didn't come in 18, and i cant run 19 my dilema solved itself. wheels are not on the car. though just looking at them w/ toyo's on (215/45/17), I LOVE THEM. i just couldn't afford to pay a little more for 18 tires when needing replacement and less sidewall to protect the wheel. i'd say consider where u live. i may still go to 18s down the road but for now, no regrets for me.
18s look very nice on svts, there's no denying that.

Very nice. The little things put your ride over the top in my book. Good job.

no you wont be the first. But yes, most have gone with other options, most prefer machined as opposed to the price of chrome.

17" OZ SuperTourismos
Depends on where you live. If you're in the south or a dry climate, go for 18's. I'm in Detroit where we have 3 seasons - Winter, Construction and Pothole. A 17 will offer a bit more protection to the rim on [censored] roads.
