i had a 95 Tour and i got in an accident that wrecked the body beyond my bank account so instead of trashing it i took the engine n put it in a mystique 96, its been ok sooooo far but the coolant fan will not shut off. Instead of spending the money at the local ford dealer i wanted to see if anyone knows what the hell is goin on inside there, and if there is a solution. I dont want to spend any more money, i am broke as it is, any help would be great

Could be temp sensor problem but I believe same sensor also controls temp gauge. What's the gauge reading? Also are we talking from V6 car to v6 car here? A/C?

Edit: Sorry wrong on that, same sensor inputs to engine controls. Separate temp sensor used for gauge.

Does it stop when you pull the fan relay in the fusebox under the hood? Yes, it's the relay or something upstream picking it. No, someone fed it some power from a new source. eek
