It never hurts to ask about coverage even though the program has expired. Talk to a Service Manager (not just a Service Advisor) and ask him if he would contact Ford for you. If you have a service history with that dealership and your request is in a very friendly manner, you just might get some help.

Don't expect Ford to pick up all the cost. You will be expected to participate. Ford expects the dealer to also share in the expense and that is why it is important to get them on your side.
