I just got cut off from my insurance so no road privlages. I don't know when I'll be put back on. Please help my tour is very important to me i would hate for it to break down or anythink like that. it's been off the road for about three weeks and will mostlikely stay that way untill June so i can save some money. Can anyone tell me what are the possible problems from not driving your car for say one month to four months? Any info greatly appreated!

Long term storage requires special attention, but you are not talking about anything that is really long term. You may need to charge the battery (or even replace it) after that much time, but that is probably about all.

Also, you may want to move it a few inches forward or backward on occasion. That will do (2) things: avoid flat spots forming on the tires, and keep the brakes from seizing. Some will say "way overcautious, dude", but you know what they say about an ounce of prevention.

I agree with the above. You should not have any problems with only a few months of "storage". Also, if you want to start it every now and then, run it until it reaches operating temp to make sure the moisure is burned off.

^^^^^ Agreed.. Another thing, that you might consider, besides those other comments, would be (and I don't know what type of "storage" condition you intend on keeping the car in) to check to engine bay, to make sure of no corroded/eaten wires. Letting a vehicle sit like that, in the WRONG place, can leade to rats/mice, alot of times... Several posts recently about that very problem. I wouldn't let myself stay up nights, thinking about it, but I would always use the ounce of prevention..
Enough of this blurb.. Ray
