i dunno, if this is a problem or not. but my car whistles, when i accelerate heavily.
i talked to someone, from ceg, and they said it might cause a lose of hp. but he wasnt sure.
i got a K&N drop in, with out intake res.
could it possibly be the transmission, earily signs of dying?

i have the same problem. i havent found out what it is yet. i have the same filter. someone told me that the air box might not be sealed correctly

can it just be the intake sucking in air? have u checked to see if anything is in the intakes way or anything?

It's your intake system sucking air really hard and forcing it into the MAF. If it goes away I'd reccomend checking your air filter to see ift is dirty...another sign of this is gas mileage...other than that, there is nothing to worry about.

Theres a TSB on alldata for engine intereference coming through the radio speakers and it makes a high pitchied whistle...check that

which side of the engine does it seem to come from? intake side or belt side?

I have a whistle under light or moderate acceleration. When I listen (adjust throttle by hand while in park looking at motor) it seems to be coming from the top center of the motor. I am convinced that it is from my secondaries being cracked. When ever I get the chance I'm going to return them to normal and see if it continues. Yours sounds like its different since its under hard accel. but just thought I would throw that out there

After getting my true duals installed I too noticed a whinning sound, and it does sound like a turbo, kinda :p
