Bkent, please go back and re-read my post. I stated that it is not right to discriminate against whites because that was what was done to blacks.
One of my other points is that things are not equal. That balance was thrown off long ago. It's a shame that we had to resort to affirmative action in order to be considered for the same jobs, schooling, etc as white folks.
So let me ask this...are you saying that if both applicants are highly qualified for the position but the black applicant got it because he was black, that would be a problem or even wrong?
