I would say maybee take a stang and cut the body off and put a contour on it. It would be more body work than anything, but that would seem to be a little easer than ripping apart a tout just to turn it into a mustang. just an idea

I was thinking about something along the lines of the last post too. It would probably be alot cheaper and easier to put the Contour's body (or a mock up of it to make it fit) on a car that is already RWD.

do you guys know what unit body construction is? no body-on-frame stuff any more, cant just take the contour body off its frame as it doesnt have one.

Plus the Stang is the same way, has been since 64. This porbably wouldn't be any easier than swapping the stuff into a Tour chassis.

I say take a 351ci and the transaxle outta a Pantera and make the tour a 2-seater!
