I got a 99 v6 atx with 50,000 miles...i bought it used from a dealer(dads best friend with 45,000 miles...now my car is shifting fairly rough and in third gear it gets stuck at 4000-4500 rpm unless i pump the gas pedal.....i know you should change fluids and filter at 50k, but i figured the dealer would have done all that. And if the fluid wasn't changed and is dirty its going to be thicker, and changing new fluid, which would be thinner, wouldnt that make it even worse. Any help would be good...thanks...i wanna jus swap in a mtx, but the money isnt here right now.
