I have to disagree with the fuel pump. It should only be heard before startup, not afterwards, unless the insulation is inadequate or has fallen off(which should not cause a fuel problem). he said it lasted for a few seconds after the car was started, the pump would continue to be heard.
I'm gonna have to go with antenna, if it is the motorized kind.
I've never heard of the ABS self test making noise, so I can't comment on that.
Maybe also the blower motor? see if any air is coming out of the vents at startup. Could be spazing out. Does on my dads truck
