Thats funny Citation, the gap is from two things. 1. The drivers side of the hood in front is slightly raised due to the flexing that CF has, so I still have some testing to do to get it down all the way. 2. The hood is about 1/8 inch "shorter" than the stock hood, so more of the rubber on the top of the headlights/oval is shown, and my rubber is kind of worn, so the gap shows a bit. Plus, my car is FILTHY in those pics so it shows even more.

Yes, I know I need tint. I had it when I lived in VA, but when I moved to MD I had to take it off for inspections.

Nick, I got that antenna from BAT about 2 yrs ago. I love it, but drilling through my roof to install it was very frightening!

I did modify the factory latch to get it to work, so yes, it is holding it on. Originally I did not plan on using the washers, as I don't drive it that much. But my wife has different plans for me, so looks like I will be putting them on eventually.

here is a quick photoshop of the roof, grill and lights to match.

It looks even better than I thought it would, especially with doing the grill black, thats a must Also the windows have GOTTA be tinted, along with my idea of the b-pillar mod, check out my pic here for that, yeah I gotta put a pic of my car up here, got slammed and my CSVT and I are a little hurt Sorry the stripes aren't your cup of tea Importkiller, whats your ride look like anyways, let me/us all see it. It's actually not a major problem if you take it to someone who knows what they're doing... just a covering of course.

Remove the black stripes and sunroof panel. Sand down the roof and lay up the carbon fiber right on top. Gotta nail this part perfect. Then clearcoat and wetsand forever... Reinstall rubber strips and moonroof, done.

I've seen it done on a BMW.. the guy had also done his doors and rear quarter panels.

pakrat.....FYI for you.......if your gonna do the washer sprayers....you'll notice they should go behind where the frame is.....here is a good how too on drilling through the frame...its a hood pin install but its the same thing.

when i did my pins i found a place on the hood so i did have to go through the frame, but for the washers i don't think there is a way out.

if you look at the top really close...you can see where the go, there is a VERY small dip/pit in the hood...you wouldn't notice unless you were looking.

So i would drill(small bit) down at those spots so not to mess up the clear coat drilling up. then use the hole bit on the frame underneath. then use the drill from the top and make the holes big enough for the sprayers..start will small bit and keep working up th the size you need.....drilling the large hole into the frame will give you room to work from the bottom...and you could probably drill a hole on the passenger side and route the hose throught the frame instead of attaching it like on the stock hood.

here is that site

I do have a 140lb Great Dane, and there's no way to haul that baby in an SVT without ruining the interior. Trust me, I wish I could have kept it but I can't afford both cars.

If I had, it woulda had a CF hood fo'sure.
