wow. i am impressed with the quality of the finish on that hood. but, IMO, i really think it would look better on a black car. contrasts too much with the silver for me...

First off the hood looks really good on your car! I have an idea for you to think about, just brain storming here. How do you think it would look if you painted the roof between the rubber strips satin black? Think about it

Me and another CEG member were actually talking a while back about this idea, with a slight twist. We were thinking of a CF hood, CF trunklid, and I guess to paint the roof black. Might be hard to make a CF roof!
Good to know that great minds think alike!

sweet sweet sweet. great job on this one guys. the hood looks great. roger's idea of painting the roof black is a great idea if you run this hood on a non-black car. get some more pics as soon as possible.
here is a quick photoshop of the roof, grill and lights to match.

It looks sweet...What is being used to hold it down? Factory latch? Are you planning on drilling for washers?

well, like i said, i think it looks really good on your car. i should have mine soon. i questioned showtime about the gap and looking at your car, it seems fine. i have quite a few friends with cf hoods on their cars and they weren't able to achieve perfect fits, either.
