Does anyone here have a gas powered R\C Car..
I'm in the market for one since I found a kit for $400cdn (1/10 scale) and they have a Mondeo Body.

These cars are capable of up to 80mph!!
and every part is upgradable--springs, exhausts, wheels, intakes, etc........

I don't, but a friend of mine does. He has a cool little civic one. It's so freakin fast! It goes so fast that it's really easy to crash it though. That Mondeo one rules!

I was going to buy myself one for my b-day last year with my tax return, but that money went to my son.

Maybe one of my bonus checks I will have some extry cash lying around.

Nice lookin little ride.

Cheaper than upgrading the real thing too.

I've got an HPI Nitro RS4 3 SS. Awesome little car, but I'm kicking myself because I haven't been able to drive it through the winter. Mine came w/ the Trans-Am WS6 body, but I'm planning to pick up one of the new Lotus Elise bodies they just released last week.

oh, and Fyi, 80mph, while possible, requires a lot of $$ over one of thier regular kits; my SS is one of if not the fastest 1/10 kit they have out of the box and it tops out around 45mph.

the kit i'm picking up is the RTR Nitro RS4 3 (it comes with Camaro body). I need to start off with a slower one anyways...

Yeah that's true... the kit itself usually tops out around 45-60. My brother has dropped (im gonna guess here) 300$ into his RC after kit.
