If I have read this correctly, to solve the 1st/rev.,binding problem, the 2000 upgraded transmiision tower+reverse light switch and jumper harness have to be installed with supplied shorter bolts.As there were no 2000 Contours sold in Canada,would this same upgraded tower be applicable to the Focus? If anybody had these Ford part #'s,my life and that of my Ford dealer parts guy would be much simplified. Alex
