Will the new shifter assembly the dealer has ordered for my car take care of the problems with 1st and reverse? I would hate to go back to the way the car shifted before they tightened the "stripped" bolts. (If they are stripped, I don't understand how they could be tightened (obviously not all they way stripped), but it worked great).
My car also imparts the "shudder" sensation every now and then (like clutch engaging slightly), but with the tightened shifter bolts, no problems shifting.
