Due to the recent cold weather, the radio antenna will not completely retract after I turn off the radio. Is anyone else having the same problem and what is the fix?

I'm having the same problem with my antenna. I think it's just the cold weather causing road crap to buildup on the mast, and it can't retract properly. I haven't bothered trying to fix it.

The fix is to park your car in the garage for the winter and buy a beater.

In the past, I have let the antenna all the way out, then wiped with a WD-40 dampened cloth, then retracted the antenna. Repeat until it works properly.

I have it installed. Just not wired up. The install is super simple though. Plug and play.
