It's not like he added high performance products that he wants to make sure are lubricated at all times, it it just the typical ricer mods, exhaust and intake, and whatever else you can see when you open the engine bay (i.e. strut tower bar). I am sorry if this hits home for you! And finally, we have 6.7 seconds. There is NO way that car does 0-60 in 6.7 seconds. And even if it did, he should be ashamed of himself. $12,000 in mods to get to 6.7 seconds? All show, no go. The car is only 2 years old. You are telling me he was capable of using $12,000 on the car in 2 years, but couldn't save up the 4000 for a turbo or supercharger? He must be your friend or something the way you defend him.
was that an attempt at trying to hurt my feelings? make it personal? got me there......
why would the guy begin to be ashamed of himself? he has a nice damn clean car....i fail to see the shame in that....I keep missing in my ricer guide handbook where it says being an enthusiast means it doesnt matter what your car looks like, just as long as it reaches 70 mph quicker than anyone else.....last time i checked when my car was goin 70 and your car was goin 70....i dont care how much psi you have on your 6 thousand dollars worth of forged parts.....no one is goin faster than the other person......
everyone has opinions and that is great....but there is a huge difference in opinions and bashing....and this is straight bashing.....
you ram snide remarks down someone's throat because he wanted to have a show car, that you dont necessarily like, all because his idea of enthusiast means show and yours means go.....
do we call baseball enthusiasts ricers because they only watch baseball and dont play?

By the way, only a fool would pay 18 grand for that.

what the hell ever happened to "to each his own." I still stand on the fact that he is asking too much for the car but I dont think it's rice (for whoever said it i forget). I just hate when people use the word rice period. Every person and their grandma has a different opinion about rice so theres no point. It gets pretty damn annoying. Every modified car in the world whether it's show or go is rice if you ask the right person. Just 2 more of my cents.

im not very interested in performance... to be honest. I like my tour the way it is. Stock it's a quick little thing. I dont drag/street race... it get's me from point (A) to point (B)... but i ALWAYS wanted to have a nice looking car.
so yes... i would spend more money on Aesthetics then turbo...engine upgrade...and when finished then i would hit the engine.

Not only that but who changes their "highest quality synthetic motor oil" every 1K Also unless he has some type of aftermarket computer, why would you need to run 93 octane in that car, maybe its just me In closing an ATX and then mod the car to look like that w/ an ATX All I can say is "unsmart"
